Course Focus
- Advancing Intermediate Proficiency: Strengthen and refine language skills for greater independence in complex conversations and everyday interactions.
- Expanded Conversational Skills: Discuss a broader range of topics, including opinions on current events, cultural topics, and social issues.
- Enhanced Listening and Reading: Understand detailed information in longer texts and conversations on both concrete and abstract topics.
- Refined Writing: Practice writing clear, detailed texts, such as reports, essays, and letters, expressing viewpoints with supporting arguments.
Learning Approach
- Interactive Classes: Engage in discussions, debates, and role-plays to solidify practical language skills.
- Experienced Instructors: Receive targeted feedback to improve fluency, accuracy, and confidence.
This B1.2 intensive course completes the B1 level over 4 weeks, equipping learners for independent communication and preparing them for more advanced topics at the B2 level. Textbook is not included.
CEFR stands for the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It is an internationally recognized standard for describing language proficiency across six levels: A1, A2 (basic), B1, B2 (independent), C1, and C2 (proficient). The B1.2 level completes B1 proficiency, focusing on achieving confident, independent communication in diverse contexts.
